Welcome to the Talk Page of "APL -- a Glimpse of Heaven"
This is the place for asides, code samples and comments on the main article. Please do not alter the body of the article itself. This will preserve the precious flow of the original VECTOR article of 2006, which Sylvia Camacho saw fit to translate and publish. Not to mention the charming gallicisms.

Split screen is easy on an iPad, or (I'm told) on a Windows machine. But, If there are other Mac users who, like me, didn't know how read two Safari pages side-by-side (as recommended for this and the Ian's corresponding J Glimpse of Heaven (or even how to add a link to that article on this Wiki, sorry) let me preserve what I learned from Google:
1. Have the two articles displayed in two Safari Windows. 2. Click and hold the Green (Make it bigger) button at the upper left of one of the windows. 3. While holding the mouse on the green "Make it bigger" button, start a drag which makes the window smaller! 4. Keep dragging the window to the side of the screen you want it to populate. 5. Release the first window, and then click the window you want to see on the other side.
Now to compare both screens: 1. If you are using a scroll wheel mouse, move the cursor to the window you want to adjust and scroll up and down with the wheel. 2. If you need keyboard access, you can click the window you want active, or use the shortcut Cmd-` (Cmd likely the Windows key, if you have a scroll wheel). The "`" is upper left, under the tilde ("~"). --Jim Russell
